- Developing your Organization - tools and techniques of organization development, including: McKinsey 7S model, organizational diagnostic and analytical tools, and planning and developing your OD initiative.
Team Leadership
Focusing on team leaders, this workshop provides a progression of team leadership skills including:
- organizing and leading teams (including virtual),
- leveraging diverse interpersonal and working styles,
- diagnosing team situations,
- managing group dynamics,
- fostering collaboration,
- influencing constituents effectively.
Participants work in action learning teams to practice these skills to lead highly effective teams. The overall objective of this three-day program is to provide high performing leaders with the team leadership skills necessary to ensure success in leadership roles. Team Development and Diversity
What makes a high performing team? Clarity of mission and goals, well defined roles and responsibilities, efficient procedures and systems, and effective interpersonal relationships. This workshop explores the stages of team development, how to use diversity, various models and techniques to assess a team's strengths, and action steps to increase effectiveness. Coaching for Improved Performance
Successful managers are good coaches. This program teaches managers a systematic way to diagnose coaching situations, and increases the manager's flexibility and effectiveness as a coach. It enables managers to reinforce and develop those skills that are critical to the success of their work unit. The coaching model for this workshop is Situational Leadership - provided by Blanchard Training.
Practical Negotiation Skills™
Managers and staff are increasingly called upon to steward scarce resources and to reach workable agreements internally with peers and externally with suppliers. This program focuses on the practical skills and techniques for achieving win/win agreements. Using real business cases and situations, participants learn to distinguish between wants and needs and to become more creative in satisfying those needs. They learn to identify, select and execute various tactics conducive to win/win negotiating. Based on the book by Tom Gosselin - Practical Negotiating: Tools, Tactics & Techniques, John Wiley & Sons, 2007.
Leading Organizational Change
In this hands-on planning workshop, participants learn a process for leading a change initiative. Participants come in with a specific change initiative and apply models, techniques, and skills to planning the successful implementation of this project. This workshop helps participants look at change initiatives from various perspectives including: sponsors, stakeholders, vision, communication, resistance and to develop actionable plans, change behavior, and achieve positive implementation.
Collaboration Skills for Successful Team Results
The need to work with others to achieve common goals -whether with peers, customers, suppliers, managers, or employees - has become a major part of everyone's work life. In the workshop, participants explore how they function in teams -which roles they play and what special skills they bring to team situations. In addition, the workshop teaches various approaches to collaboration, and emphasizes techniques that will most likely result in commitment and task accomplishment.
Professional Presentation Skills
This practical "How to" course involves planning and delivering an effective business presentation. Participants explore techniques for structuring presentations, adapting to an audience, answering questions, use of visuals, aligning verbal and non-verbal behaviors. This workshop is highly experiential and feedback-intensive with video recording, playback, and one-on-one instructor coaching.

Facilitation Skills
This highly experiential workshop explores techniques and builds skills in facilitating and managing meetings and group projects. Participants learn about the differences between a team and a work group, the stages of team development, and pressure points in groups. By participating and leading actual group work scenarios we review various intervention strategies and develop skills in idea generation, dealing with disruptive behaviors, and meeting management.
Customer Service and Internal Consulting
This workshop helps participants develop a consulting orientation and specific skills and techniques to provide more effective and responsive services to internal and external customers. Working in groups, they develop a service model for their department - defining products and services, and performance quality standards. Participants explore a model for consulting and build skills to manage customer expectations, and to plan and control schedule and deliverables to ensure success.
